Thats what I have... well before the stock change... Its a 12 twist and you can double check with a cleaning rod, tight patch and a measuring tape.
I just traded for the gun and I don't have it yet. I'll check it with a patch when it shows up.
I looked around online before I did the deal, and I found different info. Some said 1-10" and some said 1-12" twist rate.
I've never owned a .308 and this one looked like a good place to start. As long as it'll shoot 168's and 175's I'll be fine with it.
The trigger should be better than the new ones too.
What is better for a .308 1:10 or 1:12 I've heard that 1:10 gives a round better stalibity but if you look at for example at the A.I. or the Rem 700 they both have a 1:12 twist yet are some of the finest rifles in the world I'm really confused could someone help me out with this?

It depends on what you are going to run in it. If you want to go heavier than 190 grain bullets a 10 twist is in order. A 12 twist will work with bullets l90 and lighter. If all you want to run is 155's like the palma guys, a 13 is a good choice. I have also heard of using a 15-16 twist for dedicated 110 grain projectiles.
