hey gents looking for some load recommendations for 70gr GMX bullets. I would like to use 8208XBR or Varget. I live in Florida and hope to be able to use these against some nuisance pigs. If you were unaware it is HOT if florida, but I may work these up on a cooler day in the 70's, and might get to deer hunt in SC or KY this fall.

For brass I have a lot of LC and winchester once fired.

The gun is a daniel defense V11, 1-7" twist. My accuracy goal is 1.5" or less at 100yds and the more velocity the better for better critter control

I will work up my own load and will not copy yours, just looking for a hint at what worked for you all. I don't plan on buying 200 of these right away, so I'd like to get the load developed quickly and have 20 or 30 rds available to hunt with.

thanks

Here's some Quickload data that may give you a start.

Thanks, I appreciate you putting that together.

I am not sure what to do with the quickload data other than see the max/dangerous loads. What is interesting with the 8208 is that hornady's data has 24.2 grains as the Max for that bullet at 2900fps out of a 20" 1-7 AR platform.
I understand that barrel time matters and can help find a node. . . .beyond that I am lost.

Sorry, I gave you SAMI specs which is low on the max PSI. Here are the revised charts with a 20" barrel you can use to compare to other manuals. As for barrel timing etc. I'm not the best teacher there. Maybe someone can chime in and help you figure that out with these charts.
