7mm RM-162sst --h1000

Hi everybody.trying to work up a ladder test with this combination . H1000-hornady sst162gr./162gr a-max.also should i try reloader 22.live in wisconsin so temp. sensitivity might be an issue.is retumbo to slow for a rem700 7mmRM 24"? Thankyou all in advance.

I would try H4831SC. I have a 7mag and use h-1000 powder. After 68 grains I see no gain in velocity and get extremely bad powder fouling which tell sme a 24 inch tube is too short and I am not getting complete powder burn. My load is 67.6 grains and shoots 2890. I could get 3050 with the 4831 sc out of the same barrel.

wow.thanks abunch,jshntn,will give that one a try.want to get as many opinions as possible.using 24" until iget different barrel.
