I have no idea how yall can live with yourselves after going to Shot. If I was there, I'd be signing up for credit cards, maxing all of them out, taking out 3-4 mortgages on my house... I'd die of starvation. But I'd have some kickass guns to put in my casket!

lol Amazing...your video of the Eberlestock made me hate it that much more. 1900 bucks, and the damn cheek/buttstock aren't even quick adjust. They use spacers....thats the lamest bullshit I've ever seen.

I have to get my hands on one of those new MA-TENs and that amazing Eberlestock Stealth chassis! Total cost is around $4k right? I guess I will have to sell a kidney... Any takers?

I have a pile of video shot today, but as I type this I am sitting at the Denny's on the strip treating myself to a fat dinner. Even if I had the energy left to edit the footage I shot today, I wouldn't be able to get it uploaded before I fly out tomorrow. Today was excellent and I made a lot of contacts that should allow me to bring you more content this year without a second mortgage on my house.

As soon as I get home I will knock out the last couple videos (Seekins, Silencer Co., LaRue and some more) then I will start work on the grand daddy SHOT Special wrapping all the footage together with some bonus stuff.

Thanks for posting these videos! I really like that FNH Ballista. One thing bugged me about it though...Wonder why they couldn't use the same size torx screw for both sides? One less wrench to lose I would think. Looks like a neat rifle. I would like to see what kind of groups they get in all the different calibers.

Good job on the Shot coverage, and as always very good videos. I am very intrested in the FNH Ballista primarily b/c it is made by Unique Alpine I have always wanted TPG-1. I hope the quality is as good.

The quality on the Ballista is amazing. Unfortunately so is the price tag.

However you have to keep in mind that it's a switch caliber. I sooo lust after this or the AI when it's released to the public. I love the fact that I can run intermediate range matches with the .308 then go to a .338LM if I wanted to jump over to Thunder Valley and use the same scope, trigger, stock settings, etc.

Even through you may have watched all the short videos, you won't want to miss the big one. We will be including some other footage that was not in the small videos.

I didn't get a lot of time to play with this system. It was just kind of racked in with Leupold's other displays. In fact the Leupold rep I spoke with wasn't even aware that it was there. I had to point it out to her and explain what it was.

You can tell an enormous amount of work went into it. It feels extremely solid. I am looking forward to getting some trigger time on one.

The lighting in the Leupold booth sucked and there really wasn't any way for me to lay the rifle out to get a better image of it.

What was MSRP? I saw it there but didnt have time to stop and talk with them...

$8500-9K as a .338LM

$1500-1800 for the .308 or .300WM conversion

Possibly $11,500.00 for a complete package with all three.

None of this is firm. It's all estimated and subject to change.

My jaw about dropped when I heard $11.5K for the whole kit and kaboodle, but when you think about how much it would cost you to build three top end, hard use sniper rifles and outfit them with optics....well it makes the sticker a little more reasonable. Reasonable still may not be affordable for me, but I understand after the money spent on R&D and production they can't just give these things away.

I wanted to spend more time with the Sako PSR submission. I liked their chassis design a bit better then the FNH, I see someone losing that tool kit rather quickly. I think that would stay in my pack or range bag most of the time.

I was real excited about the new Zeiss Hensoldt 3.5-26x56mm until the end of the video he says something about it be a 36mm tube? Is each manufacture trying to outdo each other 1mm at a time?

Yep, wasn't real keen on that. It just makes it harder to swap scopes around when needed.
