Anyone on here using alliants MR2000 in the 8x57 Mauser? I hear it's great in both the 308 Win and the 338 Federal. Seems like it might be a great powder for the 8. What say ye?

Archeralrg Alliant doesn’t show any loading data for MR 2000 in the 8x57JS, The more common powders with this cartridge are Varget, H335, H414, IMR 4064, IMR-4350, W748, H380. You could always call Alliant customer servive, and maybe one of reps could give some load data, good luck.
Mr Gibbs, I've been loading this round for over 50 yrs. I'm well aware of the standard powders used. Alliant was of no use. Just said there wasn't enough interest in the round to try to develop loads with other powders. Since 2000 works so well with both the 308 Win and 338 Federal, it seems it would be a good fit for the 8 so was asking if anyone else had tried it.
