Xtreme copper plated 115gr round nose
Win small pistol primer

115 gr FMJ or JHP
4.8-5.0 N330
4.8-5.0 N340

Hornady 124gr XTP - Starline Brass - CCI #500's - 7.1 grains of AA#7 = 1125fps out of a G17 G5 and a Sig M18 @ 60° F

1/2" of barrel length difference between the two meant nothing.

I did have several of the batch make it into the high 1140's.

The previous session was fired in 75°'ish temps and the average velocity was a bit closer to 1150fps

I like this combo for all year, w/o worries of pressure spikes.

On a 100 degree day, with the sun beaming down on your holstered pistol, i am not too worried about pressure spikes.

Though i will try it in those conditions to be certain. (Next year)

What was your COAL for them?

The COAL is what is listed in the book. The XTP's are a little finicky with some seating stems. If your COAL is all over the place, swap the stem out for another design.

Federal small pistol primers

Accuracy load, recoils similar to factory ammo

Here my very accurate and stupid quiet 9mm subsonic load

Glock 19, SIG 229, MP5, AR9

Xtreme 165gr
1.165" COAL
CCI SPP
3.8gr VV N340
914fps SD9 over 30 shots

Not bad but you should consider N330 if you can find some with those 165gr.
I do 3.3gr with the Bayou 160 @ 1.155" coal. Very soft.

So found a box of Rainier 147g hp 9mm. (600 ea)
having trouble deciding coal and no viable listings.

Basically a coal of 1.100 or 1.130 but lack of consensus bugs me.
These will be standard rounds not +p. probably 3.3 -3.4 W244 at 900 - 930 fps.

Any help would be appreciated.

I just finished up a load with the DG 147gr Flat Point BB Hi-Tek bullets. My COAL: 1.130 My best load was with Unique and Viht N330.

All groups at 25 yds. Still doing load development. Not yet finished.

Factory Federal American Eagle 147gr. Flat Point Subsonics through my MP5 @ 100 yards... It even start putting down some consistent hits at 200 yards once I found my POA with the irons. I'm very impressed with the consistency for pistol ammo.

Kind of looks like Hodgdon Longshot. 4.2gr is what I used in 135gr 9mm loads

Longshot doesn't seem like it would make a good 9mm powder. Super loud and flashy. What does that factory ammo perform like?

This is not factory ammo , this is remanufactured 9mm load maded for PCC with 100 grain berrys holow base bullets.
I opened one and try to recognize powder.
