here's kind of an odd question for those that shoot with adjustable cheeks. i use sinclairs poly bore guide and i have to drop the cheek rest down to get the bore guide in. i was thinking of cutting some dowel rods for the post holes to make finding my adjustment quicker. i was wondering i anyone has that problem solved already. i don't want to keep adjusting the cheek height.

WHich, adjustable cheek piece are you using. FYI, Terry Cross solved this issue with his loggerhead adjustable cheek piece. He uses clips on the posts to always return you to your desired height.
I have an AICS and I found correct size Nylon washers and stacked them up until it was where I was comfortable. I then used electrical tape to keep them together....
