Anyone have a method for cutting a hole in the windscreen that leaves a clean hole and doesn’t crack it?

I want to orient the open side towards the front and run the auto trickler from the side.

Will probably eventually get the clear top from Area 419.

I put blue tape on both sides of the area I was going to cut and used a 1" hole saw and came out great.

best purchase for it so far. I hated guessing on where I was placing the cup and had a few spills. Have the lid coming next to hopefully make it more solid for the powder dispenser.

I have all the Area 419 upgrades installed and prefer loading from the right side being right handed. This way I can keep the wind screen on 3 sides, kinda hard to see in the photo which in my case really adds to the stability of the scale. The self indexing and the lexan top makes the operation just so much easier..Ray 20181217_103841.jpg

That's how I do it now, but the lack of the centering block and clear top make it tricky. Maybe that's a better approach once those compoentns are in play. I may try it out before I drill anything.

I used a Dremel with cutting wheel to remove pieces of the side screens to give me the most amount of side coverage while still giving access for the trickler straw and moving the powder cup in and out.

Didn't see a clear top available when I got mine, and since I reload standing, I just drilled four holes in the factory roof and used the same Dremel to cut out a window that allows me to see the bottom of the straws for the thrower and trickler from where I stand next to my single stage. This ensures the cup is underneath them before they start running and lets me stand.
