finially been able to put it through the paces. Guys, this can is absolutely bad ASS! With the can on I have less recoil that my 260 surgeon scalpel. to my ears, its about as loud as shooting a 223 suppressed. POI from AI brake to suppressor is less than a 1/2 inch at 100 yards, can't go wrong with this one!

I had about the same experience with my aac cyclone when I got it. I was impressed with the db reduction, recoil reduction, and overalltone the can produced. People talk shit about aac and it makes no sence to me.. Especially the "lifestyle wear" shit.. So fuckin what? They make great cans.

Their new ti version of the 762sd looked awesome at shot. Don't remember if it was still semi auto rated, but it looked tailored for a qd bolt rifle application and it was MUCH lighter then the cyclone I have or the regular 762sd.

I think the one you are talking about is the 300SD that is going to be coming out in the Summer. It's based off of the Titan design, where the core is a monolithic design, not the washer type designs. At 13ozs, I am eagerly waiting for this thing to come out. Supposedly, it's going to be their quietest 30 cal can according to preliminary testing they have done so far.

My stainless threaded Titan produces the best suppression among all the cans I own. My 338LM with the Titan is quieter than my 308 with my 7.62 SD.

I will be looking at purchasing the 300SD when it becomes available.

You guys are gonna cost me some money. I've been looking/pricing a Titan for .338 LM. All this good press isn't helping my pocket book.
    Thanks for the critique!

you are probably correct. It was not a large can ethier. I remember it being similarly sized to their current .30 cal cans. Hopefully aac does another shoot This year so peope can hear it next to a cyclone...

Before jumping into a .338 can I'd like to hear a couple and this one is tops on my list. I've heard the Shark and it was impressive but I need to hear more than just the one.

I have a 7.62 SD and love it so if that's your impression of the Titan............

Yes, it will be a 90 tooth QD utilizing a brake style instead of a flash hider. Looks to be pretty kick ass.
