My can arrived to my dealer with the wrong TPI. I don't know where the problem came from, dealer or AAC. I'm on my way to the shop to talk to them. I'm wondering if I should suck it up and pay 75 for a new piston, or see if AAC will allow us to remove the piston and send it back for a 1/2x28 instead of a 1/2x36.

Anyone else need AAC customer service before? If so how are they on minor issues like this?

I understand its not that big of a deal, but after putting almost 1K into this including the stamp I just feel like I shouldn't have to stress over this stuff.

Re: AAC Customer Service

Ive had them correct a couple mistakes here and there. I once was sent a suppressor that was a thread on Cyclone. Box said 5/8x24 with the correct serial number but was in fact M18x1.5..... so I was kinda pissed off that I did all that waiting and ended up with the wrong threads. AAC paid to ship it back and forth to correct the threads.

They shipped my TiRant with the wrong piston and paid to ship the old piston back and swap me out with overnight shipping.

Their customer service is GTG!

Re: AAC Customer Service

I'd be willing to bet they will take care of it no problem. I had a baffle strike on my 762SD that was not their fault and they repaired it for me free of charge.

Contact Mike Mers and I'd be willing to be he will swap it out for you. I am assuming this is a pistol can and all you need is the correct piston?

Here is Mike's info

Be advised, we are dealing with a very rare snow/ice event in Atlanta and I am not sure they will be at the shop until next week.

Re: AAC Customer Service

False Alarm. My dealer never looked through his paperwork correctly, and this was some other guys can. Glad we caught it before sending out my check with my trust for some other guys stuff. Called AAC and they never shipped mine out yet, and wont be in until after shot show.
