Suppressors AAC Cyclone vs SAS Ti Arbiter

I've narrowed my search down to these two cans. Roughly same $800+/- price range.

I've read that while inexpensive the SAS cans are great... but I've also read of some QC issues on some with the threading. Of course I know that a lot more bad info gets posted on the internet than good.

FYI - looking for a good can for a 300 whisper, 308, and 223 (semiauto fire)

For 300 Whisper you best bet is a 9mm pistol can IMHO. Ive shot one with a 30cal can and then the pistol can, there is a difference.

I have the Cyclone now and a SAS Arbiter waiting approval..... I can say that at this time out of all my cans, the Cyclone is the best performer on 308. But keep in mind its a thread on can. Do you have your 5.56 AR threaded for 5/8x24?

My SAS had to have the threads recut. Having said that, it was no big deal. The gunsmith that threaded my barrel just ran a tap through the can and it was good to go.

The AAC Cyclone is the pinnacle 308 suppressor IMO. I've never used mine on a 300 whisper though.

The new AAC 7.62 SD-N is gonna be where its at. Its not out yet, but AAC has demoed it and posted info on it. It's Smaller and quieter than the 7.62 SD. Basically the 7.62SD is gonna me the m4-1000 of .30 cans and the 7.62SD-N is gonna be the m4-2000 of .30cal cans. I'd be hesitant of using a Ti can on a Ar platform.

Ti doesn't do well with high volumes of fire resulting in very high temps... it's just a characteristic of the metal.

When is this 7.62 SD N coming out? I am very close to pulling the trigger on a reg 7.62 SD. If it is not going to be that long a wait, I could hold off a little while.

It will be released at SHOT show ($1050), but it will not be quieter than the 762SD, shorter yes, but their best 308 can is the Cyclone

According to the 300 Blackout numbers, the 762SD-N is quieter then the 762SD. I question AAC about it. They didn't just take a 762SD and cut it down. There is a totally different baffle stack from what I have been told.

Its quieter on the 300 blackout, yes because it was designed for that platform. But not more quiet overall. You can read that on their blog. Although their info is limited at this time. Probably waiting for SHOT show to unveil it formally.
