   • Tango Fire 4000.
   • All Devices Previously Supported by the AB Synapse – SORD App
   • All Devices Previsouly Supported by the AB Synapse – BOSS App
2. New Remote View for compatible devices.
3. Improvements to navigation bar.
4. Full Calypso AB Mini Support
   • Pair with the device
   • Update the device firmware
   • Manage the pairing between the device and laser rangefinders
   • Added more devices the Calypso AB Mini can pair to:
     • Sig KILO8K, KILO10K devices (firmware update required – April 15th)
     • Envision MARS Units.
     • Wilcox RAPTAR Xe & MRF Xe devices.
     • SORD compatible devices.
     • BOSS compatible devices
     • Leica Geovid (firmware update required – April 15th)
   • Note: The Kestrel 5700 AB devices can now pair with the Calypso and receive live wind speed and wind direction updates in the Kestrel. This is an independent function, not through AB Quantum. Requires Calypso FW version 1.22 and above.

iOS version available immediately, Android available as soon as Google approves it (24 - 72 hours).

We have taken over the support on the firmware side entirely now. We fixed a ton of issues.

My Calypso works great with Vector X, I don’t see any mention for Vector X, if I will do the firmware upgrade can I loose the capability to connect Vector X and Calypso ?

I just upgraded my brand-new Clypso and can now stream wind data to ABQ—very cool! However, I can’t connect it to the Vector X. Since this is a fresh unit, I’m not sure if it was able to connect to the binos before the upgrade.
I’m good with this setup since my goal is to use ABQ as the central hub for calculations, with everything else as peripherals

I'm not sure I have ever been quite so challenged by a piece of equipment. I did the update, connected to the device, and connected to my Kilo10k Gen2 via the app, but to the best of my knowledge, the dope in my Kilo does not reflect the wind reading from the Calypso.

Is there a secret to getting it to feed the Kilo? Does it have to be used in conjunction with the app? Is there a setting in the Kilo that needs to be clicked?

Edit: It looks like I missed the note above. The Sig Killo10k will need a firmware update that will be available on 4/15. Hopefully that gets it going

That’s what I did. Unfortunately the Anemotracker app wasn’t able to find my vector.
My Vector is running firmware 180 and the Anemotracter ver. 17-02-2025

That’s the Anemotracker version. The mini an has 002.022 version.

I got everything synced but when I turn off aerodynamic jump on the app the Fire 4000 still gives a solution with it.

How do I sync the aerodynamic jump settings? I'm getting a different solution on the app versus the Fire 4000.

Settings for the App do not translate into settings for the Devices. You would have to turn that off on the device.

I just picked up a mini AB because of this update, but I’m getting wild readings from the meter. Lots of 30-40mph wind readings (almost always perfectly from 9 o clock) even when there’s no wind at all.

Calypso’s trouble shooting basically just says to charge it if this happens, but it’s 100%

Try to see if it needs to be updated. Mine wasn't picking up at all. I put it on anemotracker conf./update. Did it's deal started picking up. Just a guess.

Both the AB Mini and Quantum were updated to the latest version before I noticed this issue, so got that ruled out so far. Also tried placing the unit in a whole bunch of various environments and some perfect elevated and unobstructed positions, same issue everywhere

Nope, literally opened box on desk and went straight to charger got it to full charge and firmware update and noticed the issue as soon as it was synced. Carried it from the exterior body only and moved to a few other positions indoors and outdoors. Same problem everywhere.

I'd contact them for repair or replacement while it is still under warranty then. If it was a plain jane model doing a factory reset would be worth a shot, but no idea if the AB model is the same in that regard.

I would check if this unit needs replaced. If the firmware is confirmed at 1.022

I bought one more Calypso unit, the first one works with the Vector, with the second one I did the update through the AB Quantum app and works correctly with it, I can stream wind from the Calypso and also with the Kestrel, Calypso send wind info constantly to the Kestrel, the Calypso unit updated through the AB Quantum app doesn’t works anymore with the Vector.
The integration could be perfect if we can point the Calypso always to the north but at present time we need to point it to the target, in this case if we have multiple targets with different angle ( pan shooting ) we have to point the Calypso each time to a different target, this is not user friendly for PRS shooting.
May be a future update can take it in account ?

The next update to AB Quantum you can switch between North and DOF. This will only work for AB Quantum, it will not change how your Calypso works. But if the Calypso is paired to ABQ you can choose to point it north.
