So, I've been looking at starting a new project and need some know-how from those of you who have already come across this (as I don't want to waste time and money on this).
Here goes:
I want to put together a 16" upper together with a low-profile gas block. However, I want to convert the gas system into a piston system (as I am able to get a piston kit very cheap). But I don't like any of the handguards on the market (as I've tried most of them). However, I love the Magpul MOE handguards and would like to use them.
Will the Magpul MOE handguards allow for the use of a piston system?
And if so, do I need any kind of special attachment for the low-profile piston system so the handgurads won't just fall off?
Thanks!
