We had a serious situation at the TPRC last weekend. One of the guys was having trouble keeping it up... uh his comb that is.

Seriously, he was using nuts and washers to support his comb. Not sure if you can see it here but see the shiny parts under the comb? Those are hardware store nuts!

I sprang into action with my mobile AccuStack lab. We measured the space under his comb... 5mm. Grabbed 2x 2.5mm stacks and got him squared away.

Everything turned out just fine. Thanks to Vu for bringing this sitution to my attention, friends don't let friends use nuts for comb spacers.

Nice, that's some good customer support.

I used rocks one time under the saddle cheek piece on my old McMillan A4. We were all the way back in the hollow at ASC and the set screws I used loosened up. I looked around and I had rocks and duct tape...problem solved!

Capt America still wants to paint them shiny chrome ... He misses the bling from his hardware... What was his saying ... Need the bling to make the rifle sing!

Seriously though thanks for squaring him away... Sometimes the shit he does makes him look like the poor homeless kid.

Welcome to 2011 Capt America ... NO MORE nuts by your chin! At least shiny metal ones ! Haha
