If one were to choose between the two "solid" bullet offerings from Hornady(GMX bullet) and Nosler(E-Tip) which would be inherently more accurate all things being equal?

The GMX has double cannelures and the E-tip is smooth.

I guess after rereading my question it's still hard to compare these separate brands so I will ask, do cannelures affect long range accuracy vs smooth?

Re: Accuracy difference if any?

From my findings, no it had no effect on accuracy. Depending on the type of material used and the dimensions of the bullets a special bore might help for the solid bullets but thats about it. If you gun shoot them then of course it would make no difference.
