Hey @Hoser , when MH did your threading for the BSR brake for the 50 cal can, do you have a small bit of threads showing between your barrels shoulder and the muzzle brake? I just spoke with TBAC about it, they told me if i want to leave the M24 threads, but machine the face of the muzzle to effectively put the brake on there the way they want it, then there will be a bit of a gap. I was told roughly 1/4" which i definitely don't want. They said in the past what they have done is hack off about 1" off the barrel, rethread it to 7/8, and good to go.I am 5'11''. Yes, the complete rifle is taller than I am.
Hindsight being 20/20 and all, I should have had MHSA shorten the AI barrel when they threaded and put the brake on this. Even if I am losing a little velocity, I can add a few clicks and be good. The targets arent shooting back.
When this barrel is toast, I will for sure go shorter.

What do you guys think velocity would be out of factory 750 AMAX out of a 20" tube with the big can on the end of it? Thinking of just chopping it right off the get go, or maybe leaving it at 26 and some change with the rethread..More than likely i will be having a 36-40" barrel done, but i have zero equipment to load for this thing ATM, so its gonna get factory ammo for the time being
