Did they give any reason why? I haven't looked back, but is this the same one where Mile High said it might be a "fake hinge"?View attachment 8710413
Despite AINA saying my hinge wasn't covered (apparently the AI hinges don't fall under the 'legendary reliability and durability' of AI) I was able to order one and get the rifle back in one piece.
Because AI is HK.Did they give any reason why? I haven't looked back, but is this the same one where Mile High said it might be a "fake hinge"?
Huh?
Does anybody have the weight of the atx or Atxc without a barrel? Or ideally without a barrel, bridge and bag rider? Trying to spec out a a build to ride just under 16 lbs. Thanks!View attachment 8711653
At least the wait times have gone way down. My first TBAC had several new models and Gen 2 coming out before I received it!!View attachment 8712563
Stamp day! I think the second worst thing after waiting for a form 4 approval is waiting another 24 hours for the loctite to cure.
Man i remember waiting for a can 26 months; but i have been doing this a while, old times. At least the wait times have gone way down. My first TBAC had several new models and Gen 2 coming out before I received it!!
Ultra 338 gen 2 SR?
Yeah my last can before this was 9 months, this one was 5 days, definitely much better. Magnus .30, I missed the ultra by two days and have been hunting for a few months for one so I jumped on this since I really only shoot 30 caliber rounds. At least the wait times have gone way down. Ultra 338 gen 2 SR?
What was your rifles weight?Pics from a recent NRL match in Fort Collins Colorado. Amazing place to shoot, had a great weekend.

Screenshot worthy.
My custom 37 xc reamer showed up last week. Once I get this barrel up and running, I will report back.Anyone shooting 37xc out of an axmc or axsr ?
Curious on how you like it.
So about this muzzle brake. At there any mounts or interfaces available to us in the states which would allow this to be used with a suppressor?

Sone ppl think there a photo chop
I like it. Are you stateside and if so how does the suppressor go on the muzzle brake?

Cool . Thanks for sharing.Hi,
based in germany, original can fitting the original brake. Just need to take off the cover and put it on.
Any fellow AT thumbhole users rocking a shorty 6.5? Seems proof only offers .308 for prefit's in 16.5"
Expand? At that length, is it too comparable to the 308 to matter to sacrifice the barrel life?I had a 16.5 cm would not do it again 20 is the shortest I would go for 6.5

Run the numbers yourselves. At 16" speeds, 6.5 loses to 308 ballistically. A 140gr 6.5 going 2450-2500 loses to a 308 running a 175 at 2500-2550. I struggled to get a 6.5 fast enough across multiple bullets where a 308 didn't do it better with short barrels
Understood on the speeds, was mainly looking for a barrel swap for 100-300 at night shoots and etc energy on target for yotes wouldn't matter at that distance. I'm stockpiled way more on 6.5 components at the moment than .308 plus I'd have to undo my man bun to go to .308, you know this.Run the numbers yourselves. Shit, you are right! That’s one pic that I thought for sure was photoshopped.Sone ppl think there a photo chop
But
It is not
I need to get my chrono out. I only have 18” barrels but have both ammos.Run the numbers yourselves. At 16" speeds, 6.5 loses to 308 ballistically. Sorry for posting this in a picture thread…
Why is the bolt lift on this rifle so effortless?
My rifles are nowhere near this sweet.
