Accuracy International Picture Thread

I need to get my chrono out. I only have 18” barrels but have both ammos.

I don’t believe your 2550 with 175s out a 16”. NFW

What are you not believing the 6.5 speeds or the 308?

I can actually sling 175s in Lapua SRP brass at 2600 chief with snipers hide starting loads but you do you

It just seems in these caliper wars , people choose the hottest handloads for their favored cartridge and the weakest downloaded factory ammo for the competitor

Like do you even know me ? It's killing me right now even admitting I shoot a 308...

I wanted more speed and was actually really surprised by my results but feel free to test yourself.

My theory is the pressure curve is steeper with the 6.5cm. it just hits pressure faster

Any fellow AT thumbhole users rocking a shorty 6.5? Seems proof only offers .308 for prefit's in 16.5"

Currently have a 18” 6.5 cm installed on my AT. Plan on doing some velocity testing tomorrow. Thinking the Prime 130gr rounds will do well on velocity. Will post results tomorrow.

I have an 18.5" 6.5CM? I shot the 20" 308 barrel it came with and found myself preferring the 6.5. However I am probably going to sell the 18.5", pick up a long shlong 26" 6.5CM barrel, and build a lighter platform to be my short handy rig.

I had a 16.5" 6.5CM barrel in my SRS, and wanted a couple extra inches for this. A little extra velocity goes a long way when a gentle breeze is 15-20mph here. Im not sure most people, or targets, would notice the difference between a 16" 6.5CM or 16" 308 <400 yards.
