ACIS / Timney trigger

I just put a Timney trigger on a Rem. 700 LA, the trigger feels great but is hitting somewhere in the stock.
The stock is a ACIS and with the barreled action in I cannot move the safety.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem, and where I might have to inlet the stock.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bob

Been talked about before stock or trigger will need work. This will help you find the answer.

sand/file/dremel down the pin that moves out of the side of the trigger housing when the safety is engaged. it only takes a few minutes with a file.

Re: ACIS / Timney trigger

I solved the problem by altering the stock, not the trigger.

I'd much rather alter the stock than the trigger, but that's just me.

A screw was too long in my Timney, material had to be removed from the aluminum bedding area to accommodate the screw (or I had to endure a 7+ pound trigger pull.)

Had the same problem with mine. I brought it in to a machine shop to have the stock opened up.
