I am going to build a new rifle. I want an Action that offers me the ability to use pre fit barrels. I've looked at the impact and a Curtis. besides those two, are there any others I can look at?

im not interested in the last three. never heard of the first one. are they new? under reported? how come I have not heard of them.
Kelbly Atlas Tac action is another for a shouldered barrel.
I only sent my Bartlien blank to them and they had it back to me in less than a month, times would vary I guess depending on workload but they were great to deal with and very professional.

Unless you get a switch lug or other brand of quick change addition, your only two reliable options:

I’m a bit confused as to exactly what you’re looking for?
First post said pre fits, then you clarified to quick change line the vector (which is built in).
Any action can be fitted with a switch lug, or you can use a barrel vice and action wrench.
But there are only a few options that come with a built in quick change interface.
you could get a switch lug fitted to any action but no they do not make a specific one. most people running impacts are running shouldered prefits that require to be torqued on.
I wasn't exactly clear.
What I want is the ability to buy a barrel and change it myself. I know curtis can do that eith the barrel loc. 8m not sure how the impact accomplishes it but I know its possible with them. ARC actions actions as well. I would love an AI but not sure if I can swing one.
I dont know what system you saw with the Impact, but your options with it are a torqued shouldered barrel, or a shoulderless barrel with a nut.

It’s getting more and more common to see tolerances that can have prefit shouldered barrels.
As far as an AI, unless you have all the parts except action and barrel, you’re going to spend 3k or so on a custom build. You can find used AT’s in the same price range.
AI chassis are a love it or hate it, but don’t let the money scare you. You’ll likely spend it either way.
You can do that with shouldered barrels. It's really understated how easy it is to do it with a shouldered barrel, I do it all the time.
Personally, unless it's an AI, I would avoid a "switch barrel" rifle.
If you want a push feed action, I would recommend Lone Peak Fuzion, or an Impact.

That’s one of the reasons I got my new ARC action, compatibility with my fairly new savage prefit and the ability to get a shouldered prefit in the future.
Jumping in way late here but can anyone with a Lone Peak Fuzion tell me if the action is designed to where an AICS magazine cannot be over-inserted and be contacted by the bolt?
