Gunsmithing Action truing jig

Getting ready to build my truing jig n was double checking. I want my bolts front n back at roughly between my scope base screws? Ni want the front of the action to sick out from jig about a 1/4 in?

are you building one like a GTR? What kind of actions are you going to true?

Yes one like the gtr n for rem actions

For Remington 700's might look at making one like this. Ive used both, the one below is the better way to fly for Remington 700's.

I was hoping to do both styles I got the scrap just making sure I was right on my bolt placesment
