Actions to start your build

I have been putting it off posting this question and instead been researching, but I have given up.

Where would a fella look to find a take off savage left handed bolt. Where do most get there action to begin their build? I hate to buy a new gun just for the action, but do most people do this if they do not want to suck it up and go custom? Anyone have contacts?




Here is what I plan to do. I would love to hear any insight about this build that you all are willing to give. My goals are a fine shooter out to 600yds. Thanks

.savage factory bolt and accutrigger
.cdi bottom metal
.bartlein 1:8 rem sendero/varmint in 243win
.either mcmillan A5 or A3 sporter(depending on if action is center feed or staggered)

I believe they have some Savage actions instock, not sure if it what you want as I know very little about them.
