Actual range tests of Rimfire vs Airgun video

Thanks for posting this video and that sums up the basics between the RF and PCP.

I'm still struggling with tunes and reliability with two of my PCP's set up for slugs and it's not easy figuring out the "why's".

My V3 PCP, is shooting really well however does weird stuff at times. Example - Some of my best shooting was the UFT match prior to the recent EBR. Not windy, dope perfect, no mental mistakes, no called misses, wasn't nervous, and each shot felt good, yet missed six so 34/40. Whyohwhy?! I'm absolutely certain I'd only missed 1-2, maybe a perfect 40, with my rimfire had I used it. I got 2nd but high slug was 38. Have shot a 46/48 before with this V3 when 12 lanes are set up vs 10 lanes like at the recent UFT so when the V3 isn't weirding out it's capable of out scoring rimfire.

My Skout PCP can't be reliably trusted but shoots just as well as the V3. Nevertheless will try it next match and hope it hangs in there.

Oh and forgot to mention this as a frustrating thing with airguns. Thayne Simmons was there at the UFT match - score 26, as well as Justin Welch - score 31, two of the winning-est airgun shooters in the US, both shooting slugs, neither scoring all that well, and I highly doubt their skills were the problem.

Airguns are somewhat finicky anyway even using pellets and "can" be worse using slugs. As usual POI shifts happen more than rimfire and it's one of those aspects that aren't fully figured out yet.
