Ad Astra? Anyone seen it?

Thats been my thing, its been a while since any movie has had me interested in seeing it. I don't care for the avengers or any of the crap that is coming out anymore.... I didn't realize there was a theater thread on here, that's pretty cool, I'll go check it out.

they made some super smart choices in that movie and yes it does nod to several older flicks like Apocalypse Now and 2001

They either purposely blew most of the Physics (mechanics) scenes in the movies, or their technical "adviser" lied on his resume.

I get it, nitpicking... but shit, its a fucking space drama, that motherfucker brad pitt went up a fucking ladder while the damn rocket was lifting off... and thats not even the worst of it.

I have a tech background and do enjoy space movies... no effort was made on this one. I liked the antenna / high altitude structure sequence tho.
