Rifle Scopes Adding cant to a base...

Hey all- I'm mounting an EOTech on my Mossberg 930, and have just about run out of elevation. I'd love to add like 20 MOA to the base, but seeing as how the 930 doesn't have a shit ton of accessories, I think I'm stuck with the standard base they make. I can't use the usual tricks with rings since the EOTech obviously doesn't use any. And I'd like to avoid shaving the base and eyeballing it.

Thoughts?

For something like that just shim the rear of the base. You can use a soda can and make your own.

I added moa to my 10 22 egw base by shimming up the back of the base with six playing cards and bedding the base to the receiver with acra glass gel. After it dried I pulled the cards out and bedded the back of the base. I have shot it this way for several years and it is working great. I now am able to dial in 100moa for shooting to500 yards. I think I figured one playing card gave me around six moa.
