Adjustable Stocks

I need some feedback on adjustable stocks for a MK 11 MOD 0 weapons platform. I have found two that I am looking at: the PRS SR-25 Sniper Stock from Magpul, and the Command Arms Accessories SRS.

Any opinions on either of these, and are there any others I need to take into consideration?

Magpul one is solid, but expensive. I personally dont have a MOD 0 rifle, but some friends do and thats the only stock they will use. CA stock will get the job done, but all the stuff Iev owned of theirs seemed like it was cheap. Only thing I really ever liked that they made was their pistol grips. YMMV and JMHO

Doesn't anybody go over to BARFCOM (AR15.COM) anymore?!?! The influx of newbies is getting really PAINFUL!!

How in the hell can ANYBODY possibly complain about the Magpul PRS being "expensive" when the CAA SRS is $400+!!!

i got my CAA SRS w/pod for $280 about 18 months ago. I LOVE having the built in adjustable pod on the back...but it does have the tendency to get snagged in a ghillie. My OAL weapon length is pushing 52" WITHOUT the can so it's nice to have the adjustable length of pull to allow it to fit in my 49" eagle drag bag.

Not sure if the PRS has them...but another great thing is the built in Push button swivel mounds on both sides of the stock. I actually put two more QD push button mounts on the bottom rear.

the cheek height i never need, so that stays put...and the butt plate adjustmet fits best when its all the way down, so that never moves either. Regardless, I'm glad I have mine but for comparison, plan to get a PRS on my next lower. Lots of guys complain that THE CAA SRS has "play" but mine is as tight now as the day I bought it and it is def gets rugged use.

not sure there is even a fair comparison to make...

the magpul is solid, doesn't flex or have any play. It is fully adjustable. It is well worth the money.

I have tried just about them all and for an spr type rifle, I have moved back to the plain old A2......

but, the magpul is the best fixed adjustable out there...period.

I'm going to T&E both then make a decision. I've got some guys that need a little more adjustment than what the current system offers to fit them to their rifle. Specifically the length of pull. I personally am satisfied with the standard stock. Thanks for the input.

The PRS is super solid and easy to adjust. Having the rail on the bottom makes it easy to remove or attach monopod too. Only downfall is its a little heavy for some guys.
