I have a Load worked up for my 300 WinMag that will print 3/4" at 100yards if I do my part in ~40F weather but now that its ~90F outside I cant get even a 2" group.
I tried to adjust the velocity buy backing off the powder a little bit to get it close to the MV of the 40 degree weather load, still no dice.
I havent changed anything from my initial load (other than a few 10ths of powder to adjust the velocity(NOT the data listed below)). no clue what is wrong.

Load data from my data book Reference:
Temp: 43F
Powder: 67gr IMR 4350
Bullet: 210gr Nosler RDF
Primer: CCI No.250 Large Magnum
Shot:

2: 2769
3: 2776
4: 2766
5: 2766

AVG: 2769

ES: 10

Temp: 89F

1: 2791
2: 2795
3: 2765
4: 2804

Temperature affects point of impact and sometimes pressure. My pet load in 223 with BL-C2 is too hot when I move from Arkansas to the Texas panhandle. I also have to minus 4 clicks from my Arkansas zero to be on in the Texas panhandle. About 3250nft in elevation and 70% humidity difference.

You can’t adjust a load for temperature.

A better way is to find a load with a broad accuracy node so that a change in temperature won’t throw you out of the node. Or just use H1000.

Since your using IMR 4350 you could try IMR4451, it’s pretty good temp stability with a similar burn rate.
There’s a few available powders you could try with more modern characteristics than IMR4350.

just one bad shot velocity in the high temperature, maybe shoot it again or now that you know the results back down some try it again
