Rifle Scopes Advice needed for AR optic

Hi fellas, I need some help and advice on an optic selection for a rile build I am trying to put together, the rifle I have on order after much deliberation and good advice is the Noveske 16" Recon 5.56mm W/VIS & SWITCHBLOCK. (ss barrel)

I was looking for an optic that is versatile for different kinds of shooting, ranging from static target shooting on the range, to shooting and moving drills etc. I have only ever used AGOG'S and I want to go with something different. I was originally going to go with a Aimpoint variation with a magnifier, but I came across the (Schmidt & Bender Zenith Short Dot 1-4X w/ 3GS Cat tail), does anyone have any advice on this optic or variant of similar quality. I am looking for a versatile optic so any recommendations would be appreciated.

Take a look at the NightForce 1-4X24 NXS. excellent scope if you want to stay in that powere range.

For a good 1-4x you have offerings from S&B, Vortex, NF, Elcan, USO, etc...

Read up on them. The just released Vortex PST is quickly becoming a fan favorite, and it won't break the bank either.

thanks for the info guys I looked them up and they look like exactly what I'm looking for, unfortunately I'm OCONUS at the moment so I can't look at them in person. Have any of you guys had experience with the SOPMOD stock or the Magpul PRS, I know the PRS is fixed, but it looks like it may be best for versatile shooting, any opinions?

Trijicon 1.25-4 is perfect. I have shot a ton of multigun, varmint, and paper with this optic. Super tough.

Go with the green german #4 reticle for a bit finer work. Not super fine work, but enough to hit 12" plates at 400 yards easily.

You will love the NXS, mine has the FC-2 reticle, its really fast, your not going to shoot really tight groups with the 2 moa dot but will hit steel out to 600 with ease

You won't be sorry the NF 1-4X24 NXS is agret AR scope.
