Advice on iphone Xr case

I use the Spigen tough armor case for my XS Max. I also used the same case for 3 ½ years for my 6s. I’ve dropped that 6s probably 200 times, including on concrete, and never broke a sweat. It’s a good case and it only costs less than $20

Spigen here as well with identical comments as above. Gave my 6s case to wife when I got the XR and still going strong. Don’t forget a good tempered glass screen cover. More important than the case!!

Let's just say that from dropping my phone all those times for 3.5 years, the phone is absolutely spotless. I am trading it in for the $200 discount and the thing looks brand new

I’ve seen Otter’s testing labs in Ft. Collins and know of many large iPhone deployments in harsh industrial environments using their cases. Otter has great customer service and they stand by their products.

Otter bought me a new iPhone back in 2009. I was wearing one of their clip on mounts and the thing jettisoned my iPhone when I wasn't looking. Went to reach for the phone and it wasn't there. They sent me a check for $500

I like the pelican shield. It’s thinner than the otter box and does not have a rubber outer cover. It does come with a holster.

I’ve run otter boxes for years and my only gripe is the rubber out shell seems to get loose with age.
