For the money I don't think you can beat the Vortex Viper PST FFP in either the 4-16X50 or the 6-24X50 depending on the type of shooting you intend to do. The 4-16X50 can be had for about $700 the 6-24X50 around $800 +or- $25.
I got my 2 Vortex Viper PST FFP 4-16X50 from Sport Optics.Where are you finding the 4-16x50ffp for $700?
Sako, i'm looking out at around 500-yards,mainly metal targets.I will be shooting in the prone and bench depending on the range I go to.I figured for price range somewhere up to $1200.00 The inherent accuracy of this AR-10 is a 1MOA.Thanks

Do you want 1st or 2nd focal. I used a bushnell HDMR 3.5-21x (h58 Horus ) for quite awhile with great results. The G2 reticle can be had near your price range. The glass is not as good as my razor HD but the price is not similar either. The HDMR is plenty clear enough to get you well past 500 and the 1st focal with a good reticle makes steel a breeze when you don't ever have to dial after you are zero'd.
