The Olympic match pcp rifles and pistols I've owned, even more so my Thomas air rifles, have superior feeling triggers to the Tiapan but it's apples vs oranges since they are/relatively were back then, three times the price of Taipan.
I never could get over the "cock the Vet behind the ear scenario" but these are one of the best most solid airguns ever made.
I'm considering a 17 cal, low power, super high shot count, high-ish capacity mag, 12-ish fpe pcp for plinking on my property and so far the V3 is winning out or maybe the U3.
Again, out of three, a lot of it is I've never had a single problem with AGT products - so far.
"Edit forgot to mention"; a reason why is at this power level using a 480cc bottle I'm expecting to be able to shoot a whole 500 tin of pellets before refilling again!!! I could buy a 580cc or a 700cc bottle for even more shots per fill.
I've won a bunch of UFT matches in slug division with my 25 cal V3. Yes it's that good! However with my 22rf I set the course record at 47/48 but I got a 46/48 with the V3 because I missed one offhand shot. Unfortunately they changed the course and the rules so I'll never be able to try for a 48/48 again with either gun for that particular match.
They created a harder 72 shot match now which is sub 50 fpe so I'll try for a perfect there, fatchancelol, oh well as long as I'm knocking most of them down.
