New to site, not necessarily to shooting. Haven't gotten out to shoot much in the last couple years, but I am hoping to change that in the near future.

Planning on putting together a 284win on a Rem700 LA using a stainless steel Criterion RemAge barrel... 284 match chamber, 1:8 twist, 27.5" finished length... haven't decided between a medium Palma contour or fluted MTU.

Anyways, I hope to learn a lot in this process. Maybe have some fun along the way. I know I have a lot of questions, and have generally found this site to be helpful in random searches from the past. Figured I would start participating.

With all the backorders and wait times, it probably will be a year or two before I have my 284 bolt rifle put together, anyways. Lol.
