Shooting today and my 5rd AI would fall down, not completely out of the rifle, but it would drop enough to keep from feeding the next round. Magazine was secure before shooting. It would do it at least every other shot. No problems with 10rd magazine. Rifle is a Tikka T3 in a manners T4 with CDI bottom metal. Looking at the mag I can see no damage. Any ideas?

Were you resting the rifle on something that could have been touching the magazine release?

Classic RIME Syndrome, (Recoil Induced Magazine Ejection). Does it do it more with a full mag or on the last round or two?

Load a mag and put it in the rifle, pull down on the mag and work the bolt to see if it will load a round. Your mag release may be on the short side letting the mag come down to far in the mag well. CDI mag release should have two holes in it, could try moving it so the release is higher and try that.
