I just discovered that my mag that came with my long action AIC is 338. I ordered the AIC for a 300wm , there are mags for both the 300wm and 338 correct? Or is their 338 suppose to work for both?

The length should be fine. The only problem you will encounter is the diameter for the 338 LM is a bit bigger than the 300 WM, so the top round tends to flop around and may even pop out when you insert the magazine. You can always buy a 300 WM mag. What I do is put an empty case in and try to bend the magazine lips on top down a bit. It should hold the top round without any problem. Only thing is that the bolt won't stop when you are empty. This is because the follower has been pushed down abit.
