Now I've been using QL instead of a manual and working up to the speeds that I want over a chronograph as I normally would.
I asked a question on the 6mmBR board regarding my 223AI. One of the folks that responded recommended powders and velocities that QL estimates to be in the 66-70K PSI range.
I am under the impression that the QL models are based on the pressure rating of the brass for a given chambering. Considering the Ackley cases exert less force on the case head than a regular chambering how do you determine what is a safe pressure level?
