So I came within hours of pulling the trigger on a TBAC 30p1 for my 300WM last week and found out I may have a little more cash in the hopper than I thought. I put the brakes on it because now I am torn between continuing with that purchase and getting an AICS, or scratching the TBAC/AICS plan and going for a 762k. My most immediate "need" is for the 300WM, but a GAP10 or POF, and some kind of 6.5 bolt are soon to follow. While I like the single point can for a bolt gun, the Surefire seems nearly as effective, with the added benefit of the brake attachment. While I have no first hand experience with either can, I hear great things about both. I am leaning towards the TBAC/AICS still though. Given the same circumstances, which direction would you go?

Re: AICS & 30P1 or Surefire 762k

Yeah, the fact that it is for a WM ups the cost of a brake attached unit. That is why i would go with the 762K, as the 762ss is not WM rated. But i like the TBAC for a single point.

I am trying to do some future planning with regards to new hosts. But i may end up getting the 30P1 for the bolts and an AAC or 762ss for any .30 cal semis I get.
