AICS bedding?

Re: AICS bedding?

I had roscoe bed my AICS. Glad I had it done. I've handled 2 AICS's personally that generated torque when the action was screwed in. Was it the chassis or the action? Most likely the action.

There is no substitute for a good bedding job... in anything.

short answer is no, but if you want to add some security you could bed the rear tang.
Taking an idea from another member, I bedded the rear tang of the rifle, with the bedding on the tang and not the action, that way I could have multiple rifles sharing the same AICS stock. I also bought a torque wrench to use on the action screws.
