Hey guys,
Im playing with the AICS magazine feed lips adjustment for my Cadex CDX-R7 Sheepdog (Strike nuke stock) in 308 win.
Basically, when I am chambering the round, because the way the feeding ramp and feeding lips are set, the nose of the bullet drags on the coutrabore for about 5 mm before the round is pushed into the chambre.
This does not cause any feeding problems; there is just a bit of resistance you need to overcome when working the bolt.
I played with the feeding lips a bit, i opened the rear and front of the feeding lips to 0.415 (rear) and 0.420 (front). This reduced the dragging to about 3mm.
Any advice? Should i bother more with this or just leave it be?
