I recently saw this thread and decided that I want to try a paint job like this ............

http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2785657#Post2785657

So, I got a ton of advise from the OP and some suggestions about which airbrushes are decent. I eventaully called Badger Airbrushes and talked with them about the different models. After I explained what I wanted to use it for, they suggested I try the Anthem 155, it's a dual action syphon feed airbrush. Anyway, when I was getting ready to end our conversation, they told me to go to this site .........

www.webairbrushes.com

..... and order thier airbrush through them. Then they gave me a promotion code use to get 30% off my order. The code is BADGER9128 . I figured someone here might benefit from this code since there is alot of interest in painting rifle stocks.

Enjoy, hope this helps out some hide members.

Re: Airbrush Discount

I do a good bit of airbrushing as a hobby. A great starter brush is an IWATA. If you don't buy one of the compressors for airbrushing then make sure to put a moisture filter for your air compressor line. Other than that its really easy and if you need any help send me a PM and I can walk you through stuff.

Re: Airbrush Discount

I ordered the Anthem Model # 155-7 Deluxe Complete Set which initially cost $149 ..... but came out to 90 something with the discount.

Still waiting on the Airbrush (UPS ground) ... may show up in a month .... LOL.

I have a standard industrial 120 psi compressor. Kinda like this ......

I had to buy an air pressure regulator with a water/oil filter on it so I can get the pressures down to working levels (20-50). I got this one from Sears for 40 bucks (the body is metal not plastic like the cheap ones)..........
