    Agreed sir.

    Re: Alabama/Penn State

Uh excuse me sir but Death Valley prior to OUR Nick Saban is unlike any place else!!! lol

He's got Bama on a roll for sure. He is without a doubt the best coach in college football. Go ahead and argue with that!!

    Re: Alabama/Penn State

Bama back up #2 back maybe better than their Heisman winner. That was a tuff kid who willed extra yards. Bama ground game will be very hard to stop with them biggins up front and this kid willing extra yards and I think they should make the new kid their starting #2 back. I like how Bama goes from the pistol to under center too instead of staying in shotgun like so many teams do now with the spread.

Bama has few weakness but once again a freshman QB shredded Bama secondary at times. A more seasoned and accurate QB at home may give Bama trouble later in the season. This will be something to watch.

Right now I would like to see Bama Vs OK, two very good D but I think OK has a better passing game than Bama secondary can handle unless Saban can dial up some magic and OK goes flat in a big game again.

    Re: Alabama/Penn State

Secondary is a little weak. But the line puts so much pressure on the QB it is not likely to matter. Besides the mistakes the secondary were making, situational awareness mostly, can be corrected. Had they been paying more attention to where recievers were going and getting there rather than having all their attention on the football they would do better. You gotta do both. And as far as shredded? Thats a nogo. They lost a few yards to the passing game, but just a few. And I seem to remember a few interceptions too. If anybody does this it will be Brantly with the Gators.

    Roll Tide!
I went to school there when we were having back to back Natl Championships.

    Re: Alabama/Penn State

Coach Paterno has to be THE most respected coach in college football. He is truly a class act.
Penn State showed everyone that, while Bama is still strong, there are a couple of chinks in the armor.
Can they repeat? Who knows, cuz it is a loooong season!

    Re: Alabama/Penn State

No doubt about Joe Paterno as a class act, and Richardson is a stud. The secondary WILL get better, but everybody knows the road to the BCS title game runs thru T town.

For all the non-Bama fans remember:
If you want to get to Heaven an walk the streets of gold, remember Gods passwords are ROLL TIDE ROLL!

    Re: Alabama/Penn State

Yeah Richardson is a stud, and the secondary needs some work but they are quality athletes that learn alot every time the go out. So they are getting better and better every time out. When Ingram and Dareus get back then we should be firing on all cylinders. Can you imagine Ingram and Richardson in the same backfield. I feel sorry for those defenses that have to play Bama.
