Alpen warranty is good to go!

I had purchased an Alpen 10x32 Monocular about five years ago and have kept it in my EDC bag. Well I went to pull it out the other day and it came out in three pieces. Not sure what happened, guessing someone stepped on it. Alpenn has a no fault no questions asked lifetime warranty. Called them up got a return number and a week an half later had a new one in hand!
