they have a longer inside combined over all length of 2.955". I purchased one but it has yet to arrive

on the front page of the website, there is a misspelling
it says "acis" , should be "aics"
if someone from ALPHA happens to read this

dvdt: Not sure why you are concerned with "wearing out" your "AICS" magazine. I don't see customers complaining about this at all. However, a magazine is a mechanical device which does wear due to use and loading, so it could fail. When it does, I would recommend you toss that one and buy another one, we have x3 distributors and numerous dealers within the CONUS that stock the 5rd and 10rd mags most all the time and don't really see any shortages at this time. If you are really that concerned about a replacement magazine I would not recommend you start with a aftermarket replacement but get the original factory product.
