Suppressors Already cashed my check for my Form 4??

I mailed in my form 4 and my personal check a few weeks ago, I just looked at my bank statement and the check has already been cashed. I was under the impression the check would not be cashed until my paper work was processed??? I cannt believe they are this fast.

They routinely cash the check long before they process the paperwork. Don't get your hopes up...

My last form 4 they cashed the check in a week. 6 months latter I received the stamp. So I would not get too excited. Taking your money is what they do best.

Same thing happened to me. Checked was cashed at least 2.5 months before my paperwork made it back to my dealer. Not to crush your hopes of being the frist person to get the paperwork back in 30 days or less but.....not gonna happen.

All you can do while waiting is to fantasize about all the little varmints you plan to kill very quietly in your neighborhood when it gets in.

Probably a good time to just go ahead and put in an order at GAP...this way you can have another distraction.

I cannt believe they are this fast.</div></div> ha ha - they are relatively quick in cashing/taking of your money but rest assured that has nothing to do with the actual speed of which it will be approved. Just find out the day it went pending and wait four to five months for approval. If is quicker be thankful but if not, just wait like the rest of us.

Thats what I figured but my dealer told me that the check would not be cashed until the paper work was being processed. We are all still learning here in MI, it has only been 6 or 7 weeks now that they have been legal.

Oh they cash the check fast. Our great president has people not working that need that money quick dawg! Five to six months is the magic number for approval. Your dealer has a lot to learn about the NFA wait times. The wait sucks but it is well worth it. Stamp collecting is great.

Am I missing something here, forgive me if it's already been stated but, how did you fill out your form 4? Was it done as an individual, LLC, Trust?

I did my first one with a trust and got it back in 4 weeks from the time i sent it all off, the next couple were on my LLC and again I was at 4 weeks. A friend if mine sent his off as an individual at the same time and his took 7 months.

The key to the speed in which they come back in how they are to be registered. IMO, cashing the check is meerly a statement of them staying "we're starting to process it"
