Gunsmithing Altering a wooden stock

Doing some work on a wooden stock. Already have it inletted and everything but I want to add a palm swell and reinforce the forend. Would some kind of epoxy putty/bondo work very well to make the palm swell? I've been trying to search for some kind of product made specifically for this but have had no luck. I just don't want it to turn out looking like shit.

I'd use dyna glass personally

kind of hard to see but there are finger groves there. Put on a tight latex glove and form your palm swell and finger groves all at once.

TAC that looks great. Y'all have put my mind at ease. My project is about halfway complete. I'll put up some pics when it's done.
