i just installed a badger dm. when removing my old pillars to instal the badger pillars i noticed the old pillars had a purple ? on them. is that somthing i need to buy and put on the new pillars?

I think he meant; dont worry about the old stuff, just install the new pillars using whatever bedding compound you are using and redo the nessessary parts of the bedding job.(around the pillars,ect.)
