Ammo for 50BMG windrunner

Anyone have much experience on one of these rifles. Just got mine together and its not liking the American Eagle M33 at all. I have a bunch if this stuff and figured that I'd give it try. Very difficult to extract, and had one case get stuck. I had the same problem with this ammo in a ALS50 that had a match chamber. So, what is some good ammo to use that will cycle easily with good accuracy. I spoke with a lady on the phone at EDM and she recommended HSM ammo with Winchester brass.

And better yet, where is a good place to purchase good match ammo? I do not reload.

Easy answer seeing as how you're in Kentucky.

1. Go to Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot in October(as long as it doesn't get cancelled like this past spring).

2. Go to DSArms booth. They are normally in one of the corner tent booths on the backside of the main building(gun shop building).

3. Buy their API. Usually runs about $300-$320 for a can of 150rds.

I run it through my Windrunner and it eats it up. Decently accurate for the price too!

Match ammo on the other hand.....factory match is going to be expensive anywhere you look. Plan on at least $4.50/rd. Sometimes cheaper.

Well that sucks! I've got around 200 rounds of it along with some other stuff waiting to be shot through mine which I should be receiving in early august... Is this a common problem for those with Windrunners or could this be an isolated issue? I know I've read some people saying it's a little hotter but my AR-50 had no issues.

If you don't reload mind parting with some of your brass?
Its a little harder to get people to ship .50 ammo up here so reloading might just save my bacon.

I had a Barrett M99 and it would eat anything. I had some Bosnian 50cal that was very hot. I used it whenever someone wanted to shoot a 50 for the first time. It would clear your sinuses.
Anyway, I would be a little nervous if your cases are getting stuck. 50bmg is no different from any other caliber and stuck cases are a danger sign. It shouldn't be doing that with any 50bmg ammo.
