Rifle Scopes Amount of travel in a S&B Klassik 3-12x50??

Anyone know exactly how much elevation & windage travel in a S&B Klassik 3-12x50??

If I recall they have around 35-40 MOA of internal travel.

Just wondering if using a 20 MOA base with this scope will not let me attain a 100 yd zero??

That would be <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">total</span> </span>internal travel. You may run in to a problem with a 20 moa base. Finding a 10 or 15 moa base may be your best bet with that optic.

That is what I was worried about!! Its going on a hunting rifle (300 RUM) & I would like to set it up to be 2.5" high at 100 yds if possible.

That would be possible on a flat rail. However, you may have a bit of a problem trying to dial any elevation for extended ranges.

I am sending the base to Greg Tannel to machine the rear of this 20 MOA base down to "flatten" it out.

I should be ok after he does this for me!!
