Getting an AMP annealer tomorrow and when cross referencing the caliber and brass, my lot of 6.5x47 Lapua isn't on the list. It's either a setting of 71 or 76 with 76 obviously being in the flame longer.

Was hoping someone was shooting some of the same lot who has had their brass analyzed could chime in. The lot is P01009801/2994316

thanks!

Even if you find someone annealing your exact lot, unless they are using Templique, I don't know how you will know the setting they are using is correct.

AMP does say they generally don't see much lot to lot variation. The generic 6.5 x 47 setting should be good.

Better you can send six resized cases to AMP in New Zealand and they will test your particular lot for free.

Definitely worth doing if you have a large quantity of the same lot without too many reloadings.

Good luck.

Just measure the neck thickness; that's generally what changes from lot to lot. Find a lot listed of that brand and neck thickness and go from there....

Edit: Never mind, it looks like all their brass is the same neck thickness. The material properties of the brass must have changed though, to cause a difference in annealing times.
