Night Vision AN/PSQ-23 STORM LRF questions

Looking for more information/experience about the STORM LRF. Specifically, what are the two ports on the back used for? It looks like the right hand connection/port is for remote switch and the left is a data port.

I noticed that a vendor is selling one with the data port ground flat and I was wonder why someone would do that?

Does the unit wire to ballistic solver and/or GPS?
