Cannot answer that question 100% at this time. But I will crack her open and see exactly what TOOB it has in it when I receive the unit. Hopefully it is an Omni 7. We shall see.

However, this unit was made by a company owned by Bill Grube who also owns Night Vision Devices and he typically produces good products.

Don’t autogated tubes usually have a faint “whine” to them?

Not sure about if all of them whine. I have a bunch of auto gated tubes but my hearing aint the best and "to me" none of mine whine.
